Containment Tarps

Coated Airbag Tarps from JMI Legacy Manufacturing, L.L.C., are made from high-strength, woven nylon fabric with a silicone coating for impermeability. These tarps are used to contain paint overspray, abrasive blasting, lead abatement, fireproofing overspray, and general construction applications. Airbag tarps include 2-inch, heavy-duty reinforced webbing, rustproof grommets, and have internal center seams with additional webbing and grommets.

Coated Geotarps are used as containment for industrial paint overspray, abrasive blasting, lead abatement, winter enclosures, and general construction applications. JMI Legacy Manufacturing, L.L.C. fabricates Coated Geotarps made from high-strength, woven coated polypropylene with an extrusion coating, available in fire retardant and non-fire retardant options. Geotarps include 2-inch, heavy-duty reinforced webbing, rustproof grommets, and have internal center seams with additional webbing and grommets.

Containment Screens are made from high-strength, monofilament yarns. They are used as containment for abrasive blasting, paint overspray, fireproofing overspray, dust and debris protection, and general construction applications. Containment Screens are breathable and allow for slight light passage while providing containment. Containment Screens include 2-inch, heavy-duty reinforced webbing, rustproof grommets, and internal center seams with additional webbing and grommets down the middle of the tarp for maximum attachment points. We also offer fire retardant and non-fire retardant options for specific customization.

Our Woven-Coated Polyethylene Tarps are heavy-duty tarps used for premium industrial and construction applications.  These tarps are custom fabricated and include heavy-duty reinforced webbing and rustproof grommets on all outer edges. The extrusion coating allows the tarp to act as a weather shield enclosure or solid environmental containment cover. When customizing each tarp, it is possible to include internal center seams with additional grommets down the middle of the tarp for maximum attachment points. These tarps are available in fire retardant and non-fire retardant options.

Canvas tarps are used for industrial maintenance, surface preparation, construction, and in the petrochemical industry. Our canvas tarps come in standard stock sizes or custom designed. JMI Legacy Manufacturing, L.L.C. fabricates vinyl tarps made from high-strength polyester scrim reinforced PVC. Vinyl tarps are long-lasting, durable fabrics used for construction covers, weather covers, industrial roof covers, containment liners, snow removal, and other tarp applications. These solid tarps are weather-resistant, tear-resistant, mildew resistant, and UV resistant for maximum life expectancy. Vinyl tarps include heavy-duty reinforced webbing and rustproof grommets. These tarps also have internal center seams that can be welded or sewn, with webbing and grommets down the middle of the tarp for maximum attachment points. Our vinyl tarps come in various colors and weights, ranging from 13 oz. to 40 oz.

JMI Legacy Manufacturing, L.L.C. provides a 13 oz. “Temper Tent,” vinyl tarp that is fire resistant, tear-resistant, water-resistant, and offers excellent resistance to UV rays. These tarps are manufactured using military-grade materials and are commonly used in the construction and petrochemical industries. These tarps contain grommets every 3 ft. and are fabricated with a hem. Our 18' x 18' stock size is readily available and we also offer the capability to manufacture custom sizes. Color may vary depending on availability.

We can customize your tarp to fit any building or structure with our state-of-the-art manufacturing capabilities. We stock a variety of materials to give our customers options to fit each application.

Our standard and most common replacement cover fabric is a 14 oz., 23 mils reinforced polyethylene with a UV warranty of 10 - 15 years. PVC fabrics are also available upon request in fire retardant and non-fire retardant options and 18 oz. and 22 oz. options.
